Diesel Truck Mechanic

Diesel Direct, a leader in on-site fueling solutions, is seeking an experienced Diesel Truck Mechanic to join our dedicated team of professionals. In this role, you will perform maintenance and repairs on a wide range of diesel trucks, ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our fleet. You will work with advanced diagnostic tools and technologies to address complex mechanical issues, directly contributing to the optimization of our fuel delivery operations.

This position requires a blend of technical skills, hands‑on expertise, and a commitment to safety and quality standards.

• Conduct regular maintenance checks and diagnose mechanical problems in diesel engines and related equipment.
• Perform repairs on engines, alignments, suspension, hydraulics, transmissions, and electrical systems.
• Execute routine servicing and preventive maintenance to ensure that every vehicle runs smoothly and complies with safety regulations.
• Analyze diagnostic test results and repair or replace worn or defective parts accordingly.
• Maintain accurate records of each repair and service performed, updating vehicle documentation.
• Collaborate with the fleet management team to schedule maintenance and optimize vehicle availability.
• Ensure compliance with all environmental, health, and safety policies and procedures.
• Expert knowledge of diesel engine components and systems.
• Proficiency with diagnostic software and equipment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, such as lifting heavy objects, bending, standing for extended periods, and working in confined spaces.

• Certified Diesel Mechanic (CDM) credential is preferred.
• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) is a plus.
