Perform, oversee and inspect all plumbing, steam and heating work performed by hospital and contract employees;
Coordinate shut-downs for repairs to plumbing, steam and heating systems;
Investigate to determine and locate defects in system and correct leaks, blockage and other problems as required;
Repair water and steam operated equipment as required by work order, emergency calls or direct assignment;
Study blueprints and diagrams to ascertain layout, location and specifications of items to be installed, prepare quantity and cost of material required
