Shipping & Warehouse Supervisor

Adecco Staffing is hiring an experienced Shipping & Warehouse Supervisor on 1st shift for a manufacturing and distribution company in East Providence, RI.

Pay: $25.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
Location: East Providence, RI

• Supervise daily shipping and receiving operations and lead a small warehouse team
• Coordinate inbound and outbound LTL and truckload shipments
• Schedule deliveries and ensure materials arrive and ship on time
• Oversee receiving, inspection, storage and inventory documentation
• Monitor inventory levels and investigate discrepancies
• Work with production and other departments to keep materials moving
• Use WMS, inventory and shipping systems to track materials and shipments
• Conduct routine audits and ensure company procedures are followed
• Maintain a clean, organized and OSHA-compliant warehouse
• Identify opportunities to improve warehouse efficiency and processes

• 2+ years of supervisory experience
  in warehouse, shipping, receiving or distribution
• Experience coordinating
  LTL and truckload freight
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control and shipping/receiving procedures
• Experience with
  WMS and inventory software
• Working knowledge of
  UPS and Fed Ex shipping software
• Forklift and material handling experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computer-based inventory systems
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform the physical requirements of the position

Pay Details: $25.00 per hour
