Manual QA Tester - Web & Mobile Applications
We're looking for a detail-oriented Manual QA Tester to help test web and mobile applications throughout the software development lifecycle. You'll work closely with Developers, Business Analysts, and Agile teams to make sure new functionality works as expected and existing functionality continues to perform reliably.
ResponsibilitiesExecute manual test cases for new and existing application functionality.
Perform regression, functional, exploratory, and ad-hoc testing.
Build test cases designed to increase regression and feature coverage.
Create testing data using SQL Server databases.
Document testing results and report defects clearly.
Work with development teams to reproduce, troubleshoot, and resolve issues.
Review application logs to assist with troubleshooting.
Configure testing systems and support software deployments.
Evaluate existing test cases and identify gaps in coverage.
Provide QA feedback during Agile ceremonies and project discussions.
Monitor testing progress against project timelines.
Maintain high-quality documentation for test cases, defects, and testing results.
2+ years testing web-based software applications.
Strong manual testing experience.
Experience with structured testing methodologies.
Working knowledge of the SDLC and Agile.
SQL experience, including extracting, modifying, and adding data to SQL Server.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
Ability to work with limited supervision.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Selenium or UI automation experience.
Postman, Fiddler, or similar API testing experience.
Jira.
Test Rail.
Mobile device testing.
POS or payment device testing.
NFC experience.
Hardware or electrical/wiring experience.
