key objective(s)The main purpose of the Learning Ambassador (Part-Time) is:
- Play a pivotal role in creating a positive and memorable learning experience for our guests through a friendly, engaging and enthusiastic approach.
- Greet visitors with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Walk guests through the various areas, providing information about the various learning experiences.
- Assist visitors with ticket purchases and provide guidance on admission procedures and all the options available to them.
- Resolve customer inquiries, concerns, or issues in a professional, timely manner.
- Monitor and manage visitor flow to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests.
- Assist in crowd control during peak times or special events to ensure a positive guest experience.
- Train and maintain detailed knowledge of learning stations and inform guests about the benefits of each learning station.
- Collaborate with other team members to optimize visitor traffic.
- May perform other duties assigned in other work areas as needed.
- Guide guests to exits or provide other instructions or assistance in case of emergency.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Management, or a related field
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in educational management or a similar role.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Passion for education and creating impactful learning experiences.
- Stand/move about - frequently, 90% of the time
- Perform repetitive motion using scanning devices
- Stoop/Squat - periodically
- Lift/Carry up to 10 pounds
- Kneel and bend - periodically, 10% of the time
