Title:
POS Tester
Duration: 6+ months
Location:
East Rutherford, NJ (On-site for 4 Days and 1 day remote)
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced POS Tester to join our team for an eCommerce client based in NJ. The ideal candidate will have expertise in testing and strong understanding of Point of Sale (POS) systems.
Responsibilities- Perform comprehensive testing of the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Create and execute test plans and test cases to ensure the functionality, usability, and reliability of the POS system.
- Identify, document, and report software defects, inconsistencies, and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with the development team and stakeholders to resolve issues and enhance the performance of the POS system.
- Conduct regression testing to ensure the stability of the system after updates or modifications.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in POS systems to contribute to ongoing improvements.
- Proven experience as a POS Tester.
- Solid understanding of Point of Sale (POS) systems and their functionalities.
- Proficient in creating and executing test plans and test cases.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills to identify and report software defects.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with the development team and stakeholders.
- Detail‑oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.
- Relevant certifications or educational background in software testing or a related field will be an asset.
