Detailed

Job Description

As a UX Designer, you will play a key role in designing seamless customer experiences across digital commerce platforms and online storefronts. Working closely with product managers, developers, business stakeholders, and research teams, you will transform complex requirements into intuitive user journeys, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs. The role requires strong experience conducting research, identifying user pain points, validating design concepts, and iterating solutions based on feedback and usability insights.

You will leverage Figma and modern UX methodologies to create experiences that improve engagement, usability, and conversion rates. This is an excellent opportunity for a creative and analytical designer who enjoys solving real business problems through human-centered design.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design user-centric experiences for e-commerce platforms, digital storefronts, and customer-facing applications
  • Create wireframes, user flows, journey maps, prototypes, and high-fidelity user interface designs
  • Conduct user research and translate insights into actionable design recommendations
  • Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to define user experience requirements
  • Develop interactive prototypes to validate concepts and improve usability
  • Analyze customer behaviors, pain points, and business objectives to drive design decisions
  • Iterate designs based on stakeholder feedback, usability testing, and data-driven insights
  • Ensure consistency across products by adhering to established design systems and UX best practices
  • Present design concepts, rationale, and recommendations to cross-functional teams
  • Support the end-to-end design lifecycle from discovery and research through implementation and optimization
Required Qualifications & Skills
  • Proven experience as a UX Designer, Product Designer, or User Experience Specialist
  • Expert-level proficiency in Figma for design, prototyping, collaboration, and design system management
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end UX design projects and measurable business impact
  • Experience creating wireframes, information architecture, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs
  • Strong understanding of UX research methodologies, usability principles, and interaction design
  • Experience designing e-commerce, retail, or digital storefront experiences
  • Ability to demonstrate a structured Problem → Research → Design → Iteration → Execution workflow
  • Strong understanding of responsive and mobile-first design principles
  • Experience collaborating with product, development, and business teams
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Mandatory submission of a digital portfolio and detailed case study demonstrating UX processes and outcomes
Nice-to-Have Skills
  • Experience with A/B testing, conversion optimization, and customer journey analytics
  • Understanding of UI design systems and component-based design methodologies
  • Experience with usability testing platforms and user research tools
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design practices
  • Knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and Java Script
  • Experience working in Agile or Scrum product development environments
Recruitment Pro Tip

For UX roles, your portfolio is often more important than your resume. Showcase detailed case studies that clearly explain the problem, user research findings, design decisions, iterations, usability testing results, and measurable business outcomes such as increased conversions, improved engagement, or reduced user friction. Candidates who demonstrate both design thinking and business impact typically stand out during the selection process.
