The Sales Support Associate role is integral to store success and efficiency. It requires direct attention to brand commitment while serving customers at the cash wrap and keeping a well‑maintained sales floor. Accurate, effective work supports the flow of product from receipt through point of sale.

Cash Wrap
  • Greet customers with a smile, eye contact, and your name.
  • Interact genuinely and naturally with customers.
  • Read cues to determine customer needs.
  • Capture email and name information where permitted by law.
  • Maintain accuracy when operating POS.
  • Organize and keep the cash wrap clean.
  • Suggest add‑ons and sell gift cards.
  • Keep cash and POS media accurate and compliant with Coach policy.
  • Thank customers sincerely and encourage them to return.
  • Represent the Coach brand appropriately.
Stockroom / Warehouse
  • Receive shipment and transfers.
  • Notify Store Management when new product arrives.
  • Scan cartons and verify store information is correct.
  • Communicate all discrepancies to Store Management.
  • Process shipment/transfers per Coach standards and timelines.
  • Organize and clean the stockroom daily, including remote warehouses as applicable.
  • Shift/organize product in the stockroom, reacting to sell‑through and making room for new products.
  • Manage stock levels/product ownership in back‑of‑house and sales floor.
  • Prepare and conduct regular cycle counts, as directed.
  • Participate in store physical inventory counts as scheduled.
  • Maintain Company Loss Prevention standards.
Sales Floor
  • Regularly analyze the sales floor to assess replenishment needs.
  • Replenish sales floor or assigned zone.
  • React to sell‑through and execute visual merchandising needs.
  • Support sales floor activities as directed.
  • Communicate information on price points, features/benefits, color, and stock availability to customers.
  • Respond to customer requests confidently; partner with sales team or Store Management when needed.
  • Maintain housekeeping standards.

Additional Requirements

Experience: 1–3 years of retail experience (cashier, stock, sales), preferably in luxury retail. Knowledge of fashion trends and marketplace competition.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.

Technical: Cash register systems, basic computer skills (iPad/laptop, Mobile POS, Internet), walkie‑talkie use, price & product release sheet reading.

Physical: Fast pace work, effective communication, maneuvering sales floor and stock room (climbing, bending, kneeling). Frequently lift up to 25 lbs, sometimes 50 lbs for product shipment.

Schedule: Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays, and high‑traffic sales days.
