NJ - Installation Specialist

Job Summary

The Installation Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of our luxury carpet installations. This involves precise layout planning, proactive troubleshooting, collaboration with sales and design teams, and meticulous job site inspections.

• Develop comprehensive installation layouts based on sales quotes, ensuring adherence to project specifications and minimizing material waste.
• Proactively identify and resolve on-site challenges before, during, and after the installation process, minimizing delays and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Partner with the STARK installation team to provide expert guidance to sales staff, designers, and clients regarding installation-related inquiries.
• Conduct thorough job site inspections, documenting findings in detailed reports to guarantee that all installations meet STARK's high standards.
• Accurately calculate material quantities and plan seam placement based on layouts.
• Install carpet in homes and small offices.
• Layout, cut, and seam carpet of different patterns, constructions, and fibers.
• Maintain a clean work environment and vehicle .
• Bind and serge carpet on-site and at the warehouse/workroom.
• Digital takeoff's and Measures using measure square.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Must have at least 3 years experience installing
• Ability to read and interpret detailed floor plans is essential.
• Must be capable of determining necessary materials for onsite labor.
• Strong team collaboration and communication skills required, with the ability to engage effectively with team members, sales staff, clients, and designers.
• Ability to multitask effectively is a must
