JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Summary:

Under the general direction of the Departmental Manager/Building Principal, the Clerk will perform clerical duties relevant to district operations.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

(Essential Job Functions)
  • 1. Regular daily attendance to perform assigned duties
  • 2. Conduct research
  • 3. Create presentations
  • 4. Prepare written/digital statistical reports, studies and analysis
  • 5. Manage projects
  • 6. Maintain student attendance records (school clerk)
  • 7. Check, verify and maintain health records (school clerk)
  • 8. Plan and schedule meetings and appointments
  • 9. Maintain confidential documents
  • 10. Answer telephone
  • 11. Arrange conference calls
  • 12. File, scan, and copy documents
  • 13. Prepare routine correspondence for administrative superior
  • 14. Research confidential information
  • 15. Attend workshops, conferences, and departmental meetings
  • 16. Make necessary contacts
  • 17. Perform other duties as assigned

Knowledge of:
  • 1. District policies and procedures
  • 2. Statistical data collection
  • 3. Modern office equipment, troubleshooting, practices and procedures

TRAINING. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Any combination equivalent to: a high school diploma, an associate's degree preferred, two years of clerical experience in increasingly responsible office environment.
