2026 Summer School Programming - 5th Grade Teacher
This is a summer school position and does not constitute permanent employment in the district for the school year. Requirements include:
- Illinois teaching license with endorsement in elementary
- Highly qualified in self-contained K-9
- Satisfactory evaluation for the past two years
- Ability to demonstrate knowledge of current instructional and curricular methodologies
- Average daily attendance of greater than 93% of a regular school term
- Evidence of current professional development
- Must not exceed 3% salary cap
- District 189 teaching staff have selection priority as described in Article XVII of the Local 1220 Bargaining Agreement.
