Project Specialist/Teacher II (AP27-003)

What You Will Do

  • Responsibilities include preparing developmentally appropriate lesson plans (including instruction during family style dining), implementing the adopted curriculum, managing classroom behavior, individualizing child instruction, conducting screening and assessments, maintaining records, scheduling and completing home visits/parent teacher conferences.
  • Individuals in this position are responsible for obtaining and managing child outcome data.
Minimum Acceptable Qualifications

Tier 1 - A Baccalaureate degree in Early Childhood Education OR Tier 2 - Associate degree in Early Childhood Education and coursework equivalent to a major in Early Childhood Education and at least two years of experience teaching infants/toddlers and/or preschool aged children; AND Currently enrolled in a qualifying, degree-seeking program leading to a Baccalaureate degree in Early Childhood Education. Bachelors degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or Advanced Degree in Early Childhood

Teacher I - 0 Years of Experience - $ 3,578.01

Teacher I- 1-2 Years of Experience - $ 3,756.91

Teacher I - 2-4 Years of Experience - $ 3,961.51

Teacher I - 4+ Years of Experience - $ 4,254.66

Teacher I- 5+ Years of Experience - $ 4,571.62

Project Specialist Teacher II TIER II:

Associates degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or 60 college credits with at least 6 hours in Early Childhood Education AND coursework equivalent to a major in Early Childhood Education

Experience teaching infants, toddlers, and/or pre-school aged children

Teacher II- 0 Years of Experience - $ 3,099.43

Teacher II- 1-2 Years of Experience - $ 3,199.41
