Steam Boiler and Wastewater Utilities Supervisor

We are seeking a hands-on, Lead/Supervisor level industrial systems Maintenance, Repair and Troubleshooting professional with direct Steam Boiler and Wastewater Utilities experience to take on a key role at our manufacturing facility as a Supervisor to lead daily operations of plant utility systems in a manufacturing environment.

This role oversees steam boilers, wastewater treatment, and utility technicians while ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant operations, product quality and availability and safety for all employees/visitors at our site.

In this role, your day to day, Key Responsibilities will include:

• Supervise operation and maintenance of steam boilers, water, and wastewater systems
• Lead and develop a team of utility technicians and operators
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot equipment and process issues
• Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations
• Coordinate preventive maintenance and system upgrades
• Maintain records for water treatment, emissions, and discharge
• Drive continuous improvement in efficiency, reliability, and cost control
• Enforce OSHA and plant safety standards including lockout tagout

Required Qualifications

• 5 plus years experience with industrial steam boilers and wastewater systems
• 2 plus years leadership or supervisory experience in manufacturing or industrial setting
• Strong knowledge of boiler operations, water chemistry, and treatment systems
• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs and technical manuals

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Miura and Hurst boiler systems strongly preferred
• Boiler Operator License or Stationary Engineer certification
• Wastewater Operator Certification
• Experience with automated controls or SCADA systems
• Background in food and beverage, chemical, pharma, or heavy manufacturing.
