Stadium DJ

Position Summary

The Gateway Grizzlies are seeking a Stadium DJ to manage game-day music, audio cues, and fan engagement at home games. This role is responsible for setting the energy and atmosphere of the ballpark through music programming, scripted announcements, and crowd interaction during pre-game, inning breaks, promotions, and post-game moments. The Stadium DJ must bring a high-energy, outgoing personality, strong crowd awareness, and the ability to adapt tone and messaging based on fan response.

This position is a part time/seasonal from April to September.

Responsibilities:

• Provide and operate personal DJ equipment (venue provides sound system connection).
• Perform music for pre-game, inning breaks, promotions, player entrances, and post-game.
• Deliver scripted announcements, sponsor reads, and promotional content clearly.
• Execute music and audio cues accurately in coordination with production timing.
• Interact with fans of all ages in a family-friendly, engaging manner.
• Demonstrate crowd awareness and adjust energy based on game flow and fan response.
• Support fan engagement efforts alongside the Emcee/In-Game Host.
• Follow run-of-show documents and real-time cues from the Production Team.
• Participate in promotional content and on-camera appearances as needed.

Requirements

• Prior DJ, audio operator, or live event experience required.
• High-energy, outgoing personality with confidence speaking to live crowds.
• Strong understanding of music selection, pacing, and crowd engagement.
• Basic knowledge of audio mixing and EQ.
• Ability to react quickly in a live environment.
• Comfort performing in front of large crowds and on camera.
• Availability for all Gateway Grizzlies home games; nights, weekends, and holidays required.
• If unavailable for a scheduled game, you must arrange an approved replacement in advance.
