Registered Nurse II OR Call; Exempt

The Registered Nurse, utilizing theoretical concepts as a basis for decisions in practice, will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care in accordance with standards of nursing practice for adult/geriatric patients.

• Education:
  
  Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
• Licensure:
  Current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the applicable state of practice required.
• Experience:
  
  Two (2) years of experience as a Registered Nurse required for this position. New graduate RNs are not eligible.
• Certifications:
  
  BLS certified.
• Other:
  Completes hospital and nursing competency within 3 months of employment and annually, submits to Nurse Manager/Education Coordinator.
• Preferred Education:
  
  BSN.
• Preferred Licensure:
  None specified.
• Preferred Experience:
  
  Two (2) years of OR experience. Ortho and Neuro experience preferred.
• Preferred
  
  Certifications:
  
  ACLS.
