Overview
A home health agency is seeking an experienced RN / Clinical Director to oversee clinical services and patient care quality. This role reports to the Administrator/Director and is based on-site in East St Louis, IL.
What you'll do- Take responsibility for all clinical services provided by the agency, directing care coordination and supervising clinical functions
- Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations governing home health visits
- Ensure adherence to agency policies and procedures
- Monitor job performance, complete staff evaluations, and provide counseling as needed
- Plan, develop, and drive strategies for the nursing division and establish standards for measuring quality care and organizational performance
- Oversee patient care services to ensure timely, quality-focused delivery
- Prepare the agency for licensure and other audits and surveys, including Conditions of Participation
- Monitor the QAPI Program and ensure appropriate corrective measures are performed
- Identify problem areas and report to the Administrator both verbally and in writing
- Promote and educate staff on infection control, universal precautions, and disease transmission prevention during patient care
- Hire, manage, and retain qualified employees; mentor staff and provide performance evaluations, coaching, training, and development
- Use effective interpersonal and communication skills, and facilitate their use among team members to achieve desired outcomes
- Coordinate closely with the Manager of Intake/Authorization to ensure all deadlines are met
- Meet mandatory continuing education requirements set by the agency and licensing board
- 2-5 years' management experience in Home Health
- Professional demeanor and appearance
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Current, unencumbered license to practice nursing within the state of Texas; BSN preferred
- Strong clinical skills
- Experience with OASIS and QAPI
- Strong Medicare background (Adult)
- Strong leadership skills; solutions-oriented, adaptive, change agent
- Team builder with a passion for teaching, supporting, and guiding staff
- Base pay range represents a general guideline and is not a guarantee of final offer
- Compensation will be determined based on the selected candidate's relevant experience and the specific responsibilities of the position
- Final compensation rate will be discussed and confirmed at the conclusion of the interview process
