As a Security Officer Patrol Assessment in East Saint Louis, IL
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support a professional environment through strong customer service and communication.

- Sun 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
- Provide customer service to visitors, staff, or members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with supervisors and public agency contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, public access areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and unusual behavior.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas, verifying access permissions and reporting suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, or policy violations.
- Support daily operations by completing routine reports, providing directions and assistance, and maintaining awareness of changing conditions across the location.
- Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
- Be able to lift more than 20 pounds.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
