Location: East St. Louis
Illinois Department of Corrections in Illinois is seeking a Correctional Officer Trainee for a period not to exceed three months of training in security and custodial duties. Cadets will participate in pre-service security training and receive badges and oath of office upon completion.
Positions are located across 26 correctional centers statewide with varying shifts. Applicants must be physically fit at screening and apply electronically through the IDOC website.
