Reading Student Worker

The Reading Department is searching for Student Workers

Job Summary/Basic Function:

• Must Greet and support students, campus visitors andother professionals with department resources.
• Must be proficient in the useof Office Windows-Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.
• Should have excellent communication skills, written and verbal, be able to answer phones and take messages when necessary.
• Handle and deliver mail received by the office daily.
• Make copies as requested by professors. Assist professors with any special events as requested.
• Maintain a high quality of professionalism and ethical behavior.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the department chairand Secretary.

Job Requirements:

• Currently enrolled undergraduate student at East Stroudsburg University.
• Must be professional,organized, and dependable with a high degree of integrity.
• Report to work as scheduled,complete assignments, respond to communication quickly.
• Must have a positive attitude and be courteous with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must speak clearly on thephone, with a positive, upbeat, and courteous attitude.
• Ability to communicate and workwell with a diverse staff and other student.

Additional Information:

• Hourly Rate $10.00
• Up to 20 hours per week subject to change.

Employment Eligibility & University Commitment

Must be at least 18 years old and have English literacy skills.
