GSW) Graduate Student Worker - Special Education and Rehabilitation Department

Type of Position:

Full-time Graduate Student Worker with the Special Education and Rehabilitation Department working 10-20 hours per week/150-300 hours per semester.

$10.00 per hour

Assist faculty with special projects, NCATE/CAEP/CEC data collection, program brochures, and department recruitment materials. Assistin the daily operations of the office and graduate program. Assist in clerical tasks for department functioning and/or faculty projects. Help prepare and distribute educational materials to key stakeholders. Assist in data collection, analysis, andreport preparations for research, major accreditation, and other purposes.

• Assist in developing assessment documents and NCATE/CAEP and CEC reports.
• InputPDE data, assist in aligning assessment documents, assist in developing syllabus templates, and align all materials with NCATE and PDE competency requirements.
• Assistin data collection, analysis, and report preparations/edits and research projects.
• Assist faculty and staff with campus-wide events and projects, such as Global Week,Special Olympics, Through Their Eyes, and PPODS Buddy Walk.
• Assist with all department program documentation, requirements, and responsibilities,including grant related documentation and program brochures and materials.
• UtilizeESU online platforms and assist with other department responsibilities forfull-time faculty and adjuncts.
• Assistin preparation of instructional materials for accessibility purposes.

• Useof Tk20 and D2L for data collection and instructional support purposes.
• Assistin teacher certification programs at the graduate and undergraduate level. Assist in the Rehabiltative and Human Services program and the Applied Behavior Analyst program.
• Complete grant related documentation.
• Assist Graduate Coordinator in graduate program activities.

• Enrolled full-time in a Master's Degree program ntain a 3.0 or higher GPA and no more than one grade below a
  
  B. Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism. Ability to take initiative, follow directions, and meet deadlines. Strong written and oral communication skills. Strong technology skills in Microsoft Office software, D2L, email, social media/ networking, and computer applications. Criminal background checks are required.

Prefer candidate to be enrolled in the College of Education, although other candidates will be considered.
