In‑Store Registered Nurse (RN) – Vaccine Administrator positions are available in your area! Looking to earn extra income this fall while making a difference in your community? Join our team for the 2026 vaccination season! We are actively hiring compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) to administer seasonal vaccines in a retail pharmacy setting. This is a patient‑facing, in‑person role with flexible scheduling and paid training (if needed).

Must be available to work a minimum of 3 days per week (24 hours minimum). Flexible scheduling required; hours may vary week to week based on business needs. Day, evening, and weekend availability may be required.
Work LocationRetail pharmacy locations. Nurses may float between nearby store locations as needed. Training provided if necessary. All required PPE is provided.
Position SummaryAs an In‑Store Registered Nurse, you will provide safe, efficient, and compassionate immunization services while educating patients and supporting pharmacy operations during peak vaccination season. You will administer a variety of vaccines, including Flu, COVID‑19, MMR, and other CDC‑recommended immunizations, while delivering exceptional patient care in a fast‑paced retail healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities- Administer Flu, COVID‑19, MMR, and other vaccines in accordance with state regulations and company protocols.
- Assess patient eligibility and review vaccination history prior to immunization.
- Monitor patients for adverse reactions and provide appropriate follow‑up care.
- Maintain accurate documentation and immunization records.
- Deliver exceptional customer service with empathy, compassion, and professionalism.
- Educate patients regarding recommended vaccinations and answer basic immunization questions.
- Collaborate with pharmacists and fellow healthcare professionals to ensure efficient patient care.
- Adapt to changing patient volumes and daily operational needs in a dynamic retail environment.
- Follow all clinical, state, federal, and company guidelines related to vaccine administration and patient safety.
- Walk the front store to promote on‑demand vaccination opportunities.
- Assist the Pharmacist on Duty with immunization outreach initiatives.
- Contact patients with upcoming appointments to encourage co‑administration of recommended vaccines.
- Support pharmacy workflow as appropriate within the RN scope of practice.
- Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) or CPR certification.
- Minimum of one (1) year of nursing experience.
- Prior immunization/vaccination experience preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and medication administration skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, patient‑focused environment.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Must not appear on the DEA Excluded Parties List.
- COVID‑19 vaccination required prior to start (approved medical and religious exemptions will be considered).
