As a Residential HVAC Field Technician, you will serve as a vital expert in maintaining home comfort by diagnosing, repairing, and optimizing heating and cooling systems. Responsibilities- Execute precise repairs and component replacements to restore system functionality and efficiency.
- Conduct comprehensive system diagnostics to identify root causes of malfunctions and provide clear, honest recommendations to homeowners.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance to extend equipment lifespan and improve energy performance.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by explaining technical issues and service options in an accessible, professional manner.
- Document all service activities and findings accurately to maintain detailed records of system health.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and industry standards to maintain a secure and efficient work environment.
- Stay current with evolving HVAC technologies and best practices through ongoing professional development.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in HVAC service and repair.
- Current EPA Certification for refrigerant handling.
- Strong technical proficiency in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning principles.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and at least 3 years of US driving experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical system failures independently.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with a focus on consultative customer service.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a rotating on-call schedule effectively.
