Anglian Recruitment are proud to be working with a prestigious and well-established construction client, currently seeking experienced Ground workers for an ongoing project based in Bungay, Suffolk

This is a fantastic opportunity for skilled and motivated individuals to join a highly respected contractor, offering consistent work, competitive pay, and a supportive, professional working environment.

After an initial 12-week period, successful candidates will have the opportunity to go direct with the client, joining a company known for valuing its people and offering genuine long-term stability.

Role Overview :

As a Groundworker, you’ll be responsible for a wide range of duties, including:

* Drainage and pipe laying

* Concreting and kerbing

* General groundwork and site preparation

* Landscaping and land care work

* Working from site drawings and plans

* Supporting a small, friendly team with day-to-day site operations

We’re particularly keen to hear from Ground workers with agricultural or landscaping experience – someone practical, reliable, and not afraid to get stuck into a variety of hands-on jobs.

Key Requirements:

* Proven experience as a Groundworker on construction, landscaping, or civil engineering projects

* Ability to read and work confidently from drawings

* Skilled in pipework, drainage installation, concreting, and general land care

* Strong work ethic with the ability to use initiative and solve problems on site

* Valid CSCS card

* Own PPE and tools

* Driving licence and transport preferred due to site location
