Carpenter – Historic Estate (Ongoing Work)

Halesworth

We are recruiting an experienced, well-rounded Carpenter to work on a prestigious historic estate near Halesworth. This is a long-term opportunity on a high-quality project combining heritage renovation/restoration with new build works across the estate.

This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their workmanship, enjoys varied carpentry tasks, and understands the care and attention required when working on listed and heritage-style properties.

Scope of Works

You will be involved in a wide range of carpentry duties, including but not limited to:

* 1st Fix: stud walls, joists, roofing elements, structural timber works

* 2nd Fix: doors, skirting, architraves, stair components, finishing details

* Renovation & refurbishment of historic buildings

* High-quality new build carpentry within the estate

* Working with traditional materials and modern methods

* Reading drawings and working closely with site management and other trades

What We’re Looking For

* Strong 1st & 2nd fix carpentry experience

* Comfortable working on heritage / renovation projects

* CSCS card – essential

* Relevant carpentry qualifications

* Own tools (transport preferred due to rural location)

* Reliable, professional, and detail-focused

* Able to work independently and as part of a small, skilled team

Pay & Package

* £22 – £25 per hour (depending on experience)

* Immediate start available
