As a Work Planner Scheduler, you will play a pivotal role in keeping the regional high-voltage transmission system safe, efficient, and resilient. As a Work Planner Scheduler, you will:
- System-Wide Master Planning:
Analyze and formulate system resource needs (people, materials, and equipment) to accomplish the work plan using input from various departments and stakeholders. - Cross-Functional Stakeholder Alignment:
Collaborate with program managers, Senior Managers, District Managers and/or District Supervisors on interpretation of regulations pertinent to systems development efforts or program Operations. - Adaptive Real-Time Scheduling:
Modify and adjust work plans and resources as necessary to respond to system conditions, marketing considerations, customer concerns, construction delays, system emergencies, and other factors impacting initial plans. - Performance Metrics & Executive Reporting:
Monitor, track, and report work plan and scheduling accomplishments throughout the year against agency targets and goals. Deliver briefings or presentations across work levels or organizations involving significant or controversial issues such as recommendations affecting utilities maintenance and construction programs. - Workforce Capacity & Strategic Sourcing:
Prepare and present results, alternatives, and recommendations to support business decisions, to manage work planning schedules, and to mitigate potential risks to assigned major or multi-year projects. - Process Modernization & Continuous Improvement:
Identify and develop solutions to broad, complex work planning and scheduling issues and problems. Identify, design, develop, and implement efficient methods to deliver resource and work planning products and services.
