Construction Safety Manager | Quincy, WA
Our client, a leading technology company in the data center construction industry, is seeking a Construction Safety Manager to join their team. As a Construction Safety Manager, you will be part of the Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) team supporting large-scale data center construction projects. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities that will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Construction Safety Manager
Location: Quincy, WA
Pay Range: $71.33 - $76.84/hour
- Serve as the primary EHS point of contact for a large-scale construction project.
- Lead all project safety, health, and environmental initiatives while promoting a strong safety culture.
- Conduct site inspections, safety audits, incident investigations, and communicate lessons learned.
- Manage High-Risk Activities (HRA) programs, including electrical safety, energy isolation, confined space entry, and commissioning safety.
- Oversee subcontractor safety compliance and provide technical guidance on OSHA and project safety requirements.
- 5-10 years of construction safety experience and 3-5 years in a safety leadership or supervisory role.
- Experience managing large capital construction projects, multiple subcontractors, and high-risk construction activities.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, hazard assessments, Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), and risk mitigation programs.
- Experience with HRA management, electrical safety, energy isolation (LOTO), confined space management, and contractor safety programs.
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification required; CHST, CSP, ASP, SMS, CSHO, or other relevant safety certifications highly preferred.
