This role reports to the IT Manager and offers the chance to have large impact on the overall business through vital manufacturing support, technical problem-solving, and innovation.

At RSP, we build custom sensors for the harshest environments from deep in the ocean to outer space. We are continually innovating to meet the evolving needs of our customers, and we happen to do this amazing work along the Columbia River in the North Central Cascade Mountains. In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
  • Install, configure, deploy, and maintain Windows 10/11 on desktop and laptop systems.
  • Provide Tier2 and Tier 3 technical support for hardware, software, operating systems, and peripheral devices.
  • Deploy operating system images and application packages.
  • Troubleshoot complex desktop, application, printing, networking, and authentication issues.
  • Administer Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Teams, and Office.
  • Active Directory, Azure Active Directory (Microsoft Entra ), Group Policy, and user account management.
  • Monitor endpoint health and proactively resolve recurring issues.
  • Coordinate hardware lifecycle management including procurement, deployment, refreshes, and asset tracking.
  • Collaborate with server, network, cybersecurity, and application teams to resolve cross-functional issues.
  • Document technical procedures, knowledge base articles, and standard operating procedures.
  • Maintain software inventory and ensure licensing compliance.
  • Evaluate and test new hardware, operating systems, and applications before production deployment.
  • Support conference room technology, docking stations, monitors, and audiovisual equipment.
  • Participate in on-call support and after-hours maintenance as required.

For This Role, You Will Need:
  • Zero to one year of applicable experience
  • Associate Degree in Computer Science or related IT
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 applications
  • Experience in a corporate IT environment
  • Experience supporting end users
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish

Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive hourly rate, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during our annual merit review process. The hourly range for this role is $26.88 - $30.18
per hour, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to a role.
