About The PositionNC Power Systems is seeking Data Center Technicians in our Wenatchee / Quincy WA area. This is a key role in our company in which our technicians are responsible for diagnosing and maintaining all Data Center generators as well as installations in EPG and industrial engines in the field. The role is 100% in the field.
Essential Duties- Patience and safety is a priority.
- Diagnose, repair, and install industrial engines (including OEM and EPG).
- Maintain engines and generators at data centers.
- Troubleshoot and inspect power generators to make necessary repairs.
- Order parts using Caterpillar parts ordering system (SIS).
- Communicate with engineering, customers and other team members.
- Meet administrative requirements to complete paperwork and inspections (including service reports, jobsite specific paperwork, and quality service notes).
- Degree in Diesel Technology is preferred.
- 2+ years of generator experience or CAT Industrial engine.
- Must possess own tools.
- Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license.
- Lifting requirements of 30+ pounds.
- Above average communication skills, written & verbal.
