Electron Beam Strip Weld Operator - 2nd shift

Perform the daily functions of an electron beam weld machine to produce all WSL parts, including reading blueprints and work orders, setting up tooling and weld parameters according to drawings, performing pre‑weld, in‑line, and post‑weld quality inspection, following all quality and EHS policies and procedures, recording production output and scrap, and maintaining a clean workstation and 5S guidelines.

Vishay Dale Electronics, East Windsor, CT – one of the world’s largest manufacturers of resistors and e‑beam technology, with around 25 employees currently working in East Windsor. Shift: 2nd Shift (Monday – Thursday, 4:00 pm–2:30 am). Overtime available as needed.

• Perform oxy/acetylene butt‑welds
• Tooling and machine set‑up
• Perform quality inspection of welded WSL parts
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation and 5S
• Understand all processes and specifications within the department and report discrepancies to supervisor
• Troubleshoot tooling and equipment when material is out of tolerance
• Load and unload material using a hoist, and move finished material when rack is full using a pallet jack

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Prior manufacturing or warehouse experience
• Weld Course certification (preferred but not required)
