Maintenance Technician / Mechanic, Industrial Maintenance

On-site in Windsor, CT. This is a hands-on plant maintenance position for someone who enjoys being close to the equipment, solving problems, and keeping production running efficiently.
Note:Candidates must have 3+ years of directly relevant industrial maintenance experience. Strong electrical troubleshooting skills, the ability to read prints, CNC machine experience, and experience maintaining a comprehensive preventive maintenance program are important for success in this role.

Job Description- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain CNC machines and other industrial production equipment
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical problems and complete repairs efficiently
- Read electrical, mechanical, and equipment prints to identify faults and determine solutions
- Maintain and improve a comprehensive preventive maintenance program
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and extend equipment life
- Troubleshoot equipment such as welders, glass optimizers, notch boxes, and related machinery
- Support basic PLC troubleshooting and programming when needed
- Identify recurring equipment issues and recommend practical improvements
- Prioritize maintenance needs while balancing multiple projects and production demands
