Salary: $100,000 - $140,000 per year

- Ownership & Authority:
This is the senior quality voice on site — you hold approval authority over QMS documentation, new equipment, and tooling that affects product quality, and you are the primary liaison to the FAA, EASA, customers, and third-party auditors - Build Something Visible:
Lead the site through AS9110 accreditation from the front - Small-Site Impact, Global Backing: A close-knit shop floor team with the resources and customer base of a larger international organization

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Maintain compliance with 14 CFR Part 145 and EASA Part 145, and hold all customer approvals current
- Obtain and maintain AS9110 accreditation for the site
- Serve as the primary liaison with regulatory authorities, customers, and external auditors
- Ensure QMS processes and procedures satisfy all statutory system requirements
- Approve all QMS documentation, and approve new equipment and tooling that directly affects product quality
- Train personnel on quality and operator processes and procedures
- Plan and conduct internal quality audits and supplier audits
- Investigate customer complaints and internal non-conformances through to root cause and corrective action
- Track warranty, audit findings, and customer feedback to drive process integrity improvements
- Manage the tool and test equipment calibration system
- Own document control and gage calibration systems
- Keep quality manuals, training manuals, and training records current and compliant
- Ensure shop floor procedures, documentation, and manuals are kept up to date
- Inspect product, processes, and metrics to identify quality improvement opportunities
- Manage quality compliance and continuous improvement programs
- Ensure regulatory requirements and reporting obligations are maintained and compliant
- Benchmark best practices across the wider organization so successes, failures, and obstacles are identified, communicated, and leveraged across departments and the site
- Directly supervise, mentor, and develop quality personnel
- Review and interpret vendor invoices, statements, and requests for payment related to quality functions
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- BS Degree (or equivalent) in Quality Management or a closely related discipline
- Minimum three (3) years' experience in a Quality Management position, preferably within an FAA repair station environment
- Working knowledge of 14 CFR Part 145 and EASA Part 145 requirements
- Strong background working with ISO 9001 quality systems
- Experience in an aviation component or accessories environment, or a comparable highly regulated mechanical component overhaul or manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated ability to lead and conduct audits, including third-party and supplier audits
- Proven ability to manage and mentor personnel and provide positive leadership
- Proven ability to identify root cause, drive corrective action, and manage multiple competing priorities proactively
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
- Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project, Access)
