Our client is seeking an Assistant Project Manager (APM) to support the successful delivery of large-scale ground-up construction projects throughout New Jersey. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on project management experience while working alongside experienced construction professionals on high-profile multifamily developments and other commercial projects. Client Details Our client is a highly respected mid-sized General Contractor headquartered in East Windsor, New Jersey, with projects throughout Central and Northern New Jersey and parts of Pennsylvania.

Established in the 1980s, the company has built an outstanding reputation for quality construction, long-term employee retention, and a strong, consistent project pipeline across multiple sectors including multifamily, commercial, healthcare, hospitality, and education. Description Team Leadership:
Follow up with subcontractors to obtain required project information and ensure deliverables remain on schedule. Documentation:
Organize and manage project documentation, records, and file systems. Schedule Management:
Assist in developing and updating project schedules using Microsoft Project. Project Management:
Attend project meetings with owners, subcontractors, architects, and project teams. Quality Control:
Develop a strong understanding of project scopes, construction processes, and various construction trades. Project Coordination:
Provide day-to-day administrative and project coordination support to Project Managers. Profile Construction Management degree preferred but not required. Experience in construction, project coordination, estimating, purchasing, field operations, or related construction functions. Ability to read and interpret architectural, engineering, and construction drawings. Understanding of permitting processes and construction documentation. Knowledge of multiple construction trades is highly preferred.

Experience with Project Sight, Procore, or similar construction management software is a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Project. Strong organizational, communication, and follow-up skills. Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
