Electronic Security Installation Engineer

Our client is a leading provider of advanced electronic security solutions for National and Critical National Infrastructure. They specialise in the design, installation, and maintenance of state-of-the-art systems such as CCTV, intruder detection, access control, and fully integrated security platforms. Due to ongoing expansion, they are looking for a talented and driven Electronic Security Installation Engineer to join their growing team

Key Responsibilities

Install, configure, and commission a range of electronic security systems, including:
CCTV (IP & analogue)
Intruder alarm systems
Access control systems
Intercoms and door entry systems
Carry out system integration and testing to confirm full operational performance.
Interpret and work from technical drawings and specifications.
Ensure all installations adhere to industry standards, regulations, and manufacturer requirements.
Deliver on-site user training to clients on system operation.
Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and internal teams to support seamless project delivery.

Requirements

Demonstrated experience in installing and commissioning electronic security systems.
Strong technical knowledge of security solutions including CCTV and access control, with familiarity across key platforms such as Galaxy, Hanwha, Hikvision, and Honeywell.
Good understanding of IP networking, system integration, TCP/IP, security protocols, and the ability to interpret technical drawings and wiring diagrams.
Full UK driving licence.
Confident communicator with excellent customer service skills.
Relevant industry qualifications (e.g., FIA, NSI, City & Guilds, BTEC in Electrical/Electronic Engineering) (Desirable)

Experience with IP-based systems and networking. (Desirable)
ECS/CSCS card. (Desirable)
Water industry install experience (Desirable)
EUSR Blue water card (Desirable)
Security clearance (Desirable)
