Hoist and Stairlift Service Technician

Location: East & West Sussex

Salary: (Negotiable)

Hours: 8:30am - 5:00pm, Monday to Friday

Our client a busy and respected Sussex-based mobility company, is seeking a skilled and motivated Hoist and Stairlift Service Technician to join their growing team. This is a hands‑on, field‑based role covering East and West Sussex, focusing on the servicing and installation of stairlifts and hoists.

What You'll Do:

Service and install a range of stairlifts and hoists
Travel to customer locations across Sussex
Participate in an on-call rota (1 weekend in every
4) — paid extra per hour
Follow varied day work schedules
Deliver excellent customer service on every job

Working Hours:

Standard hours: 8:30am - 5:00pm, Monday to Friday
On-call: 1 weekend in 4, with additional pay per hour

What You'll Need:

Experience servicing and installing various types of stairlifts or Lifts
Mechanical and electrical knowledge
Relevant maths and technical qualifications
Strong practical skills and common sense
Willingness to learn new systems, including overhead hoists
Ability to work independently and within a team
Clear communication skills
Full, clean UK driving licence
