The Williston Northampton School, located in Easthampton MA, has openings for seasonal Camp Counselors with varying levels of experience to work with our ‘Cub’ campers, ages 5 and 6 years old. Working within our Summer Programs Department, Counselors will be positive role models and develop supportive relationships with the campers as well as motivate and encourage campers to set and achieve goals, gain new skills, and make positive choices.

Counselors will work as part of a team to deliver programming that centers around social and emotional learning through traditional camp activities including free play, nature exploration, and games.

Counselors will organize age-appropriate activities such as arts and crafts, swimming and indoor/outdoor play and exploration;
Counselors will lead activities that demonstrate positive reinforcement and encourage children to come up with ideas;
They will communicate with parents, providing updates where required and answering questions about the camp;
