Job Overview
Teller – Regular Full‑Time – Easthampton Office, Easthampton, MA, US.

Salary Range: $19.00 to $22.50 per hour.
Compensation For This Position Is Commensurate With Experience. The posted range is intended to provide a general estimate and does not guarantee a specific rate of pay.
Responsibilities- Perform any functions necessary within the scope of authority and expertise to provide the highest levels of customer service and responsiveness.
- Provide superior service quality, ensuring excellence in customer service and maintaining service standards.
- Act as a resource to identify customer servicing issues so that a resolution can occur and the customer’s relationship is retained.
- Respond to customer requests, problems, and/or complaints, and ensure proper hand‑off to the appropriate person to assist.
- Develop and maintain a working knowledge of our bank products and services and recognize a customer’s potential product/service need.
- Recognize opportunities to suggest/cross‑sell other bank services to customers.
- Perform a variety of transaction operations including deposits, withdrawals, payments, cash, checks, and credit card advances.
- Participate in individual, team, and bank goals as set by the branch manager.
- Adhere to internal controls, policies regarding audit, dual control, security, regulatory compliance, cash limits, and robbery procedures that protect the bank, employees, and customers.
- Ensure BSA procedures are properly followed.
- Answer phone and in‑person account inquiries; account for all money in the individual cash drawer and balance transactions daily.
- Ensure the prevention of fraudulent activities through adherence to bank policies and procedures.
- Adhere to branch security procedures detailed in the HFG security manual and maintain a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Cash handling experience.
- Computer skills: knowledge of Microsoft products.
- Customer service experience is a plus.
- Fluency in a second language is a plus.
- Knowledge of banking products and cross‑selling capabilities.
