Job DescriptionNEARI is a twelve month day school for learning disabled, emotionally disturbed, neurologically challenged and mental health students ages 7-22.
We seek teachers in Special Education with subject area experience to work in our elementary program. Creative lesson planning, strong classroom management and the ability to provide a structured environment are essential. We place a premium on relationship capacity and look for staff with strong relational skills, warmth, engagement and firm limits. We have a strong brain-based approach to learning and behavior management and the successful candidate should be open to learning about this exciting methodology.
