Math and Computer Science Teacher

Overview

The Williston Northampton School is an independent co‑educational boarding and day school in Easthampton, Massachusetts. We are seeking to hire a full‑time Computer Science and Math Teacher for the 2026-27 school year.

The position requires teaching a combination of computer science and math courses at the middle and high school levels. Duties include creating and updating curriculum plans, integrating educational technologies, and ensuring continuity of quality instruction. The teacher will also support afternoon athletics and extracurricular activities, including Robotics, and advise students. Living on campus and participation in the School’s residential life program may be an option.

Driving a school minibus is a required duty.

Strong candidates will have middle or high school teaching experience, preferably in an independent boarding school. A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required; a master’s degree is preferred. Candidates must demonstrate capacity to work with a range of learning abilities, experience integrating technology in the classroom, strong writing and communication skills, creativity, and a collaborative mindset. Flexibility, energy, teamwork, and appreciation for the needs of adolescents in a boarding community are essential.

All candidates must:

• Successfully complete state‑mandated CORI, SORI, a general background check, and a fingerprint‑based criminal background check.
• Hold a valid driver’s license.
