Production Utility Technician

Job Responsibilities

• Feed product onto the conveyor or directly into the machine, discarding any defective pieces.
• Unload finished product from the conveyor or machine cycle, visually inspecting for defects and packing quality product in cartons or trays.
• Stack cartons, boxes, or trays on a skid for shipping and maintain correct product count.
• Maintain adequate supply of corrugate on the line, making boxes and trays as required.
• Perform setups and changeovers to manufacturing equipment in accordance with customer specifications.
• Provide assistance to machine technicians on various processes as needed.
• Clean ink stations, ink wells, coating pans, screens, ink knives and squeegies.
• Wipe blankets.
• Clear minor jams.
• Assist with coating operation tooling as required.
• Perform continual visual inspections of product, notifying the appropriate team member of quality defects or machine malfunctions.
• Candidate should have mechanical ability.

Starting rate of pay is expected to be $19.62 per hour, with actual starting pay varying between $15 and $24 per hour based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
