Machine Operator

Job Description

Location:

Easthampton, Massachusetts

• Thursday-Sunday, 5:30am – 5:30pm (60 hour week)- $20 per hour
• Thursday-Monday $20 per hour
• with a 30% shift differential working Saturday and Sunday

• Operate all coating activities, including setting up machines and feeding adhesive to the coater via reservoir
• Observe machine and equipment operation to detect defects
• Perform proper cleaning and maintenance of equipment
• Operate forklift/hand truck to lift and move pallets with drums and/or rolls
• Assist production as a material handler: load, unload, and move materials, parts, or products manually or by mechanized means within or near plant, in warehouse or vehicle, with the ability to lift at least 50 pounds
• Perform a variety of other warehouse tasks
• Install strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit, using hand tools if needed
• Load each end of machine with raw materials

• Must be 18 years old or older
• Must be mechanically inclined
• Prior production experience required
• Machine operating experience a plus
