The Quality Inspector is responsible for monitoring and verifying the quality of in-process and finished products through inspection, testing, and data analysis to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.

What You Will Do
  • Perform inspections of in-process and finished products to verify conformance to specifications using visual and measurement testing methods
  • Communicate inspection results and required adjustments to production teams to ensure product quality and process consistency
  • Identify nonconforming materials and coordinate rework, quarantine, or return processes in accordance with quality procedures
  • Document inspection results, maintain accurate records, and enter data into quality systems and databases
  • Conduct inspections within controlled environments, including machine shop and ISO 7 cleanroom settings, as required
  • Support internal audit activities and perform process audits across departments to ensure adherence to manufacturing standards
  • Maintain compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements while promoting a safe work environment
  • Inspect incoming materials and support Material Control processes, including verification of documentation and specifications
  • Participate in continuous improvement and quality-related projects as assigned
  • Perform other duties as assigned

What You Will Bring
  • High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 2-3 years of experience in quality inspection or a related manufacturing environment, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • This position is designated as non-smoking role due to cleanroom particulate requirements
  • Proficiency using inspection tools and equipment such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and visual inspection systems
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and quality standards
  • Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate across functions
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Physical Demands and Work Environment

Enpro carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors including the background, education, training, and experience required, as well as geographic considerations such as cost of labor, and applicable local and state laws. These considerations can cause offered compensation to vary. The hiring range for this position is typically  19.00- 25.00 hourly. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate.
