Senior Sales Manager – Architectural Materials Distributor
Location: Easthampton, MA
Working Style: In office with travel | Full-Time

A well-established, family-owned manufacturer in the commercial interiors industry is seeking a dynamic Senior Sales Manager to help drive the next phase of growth across North America. With a strong reputation for innovative architectural surface materials and a nationwide distributor network, this organization partners closely with the design community to bring bold interior concepts to life in hospitality, retail, corporate, restaurant, stadium, and branded environments.

Core Responsibilities
  • Distributor Management:
    Build sales and manage relationships across an extensive distributor network daily. Encourage stocking levels, train and travel with distributor sales teams, update sample libraries, provide pricing, strategize to win projects, and work with independent reps and groups to enhance sales.
  • Specification Selling:
    Drive sales by gaining specifications for materials. Present materials to design firms, educate designers and fabricators on the best material choices.
  • Team Leadership:
    Be a sales leader within the company, take a supervisory role with the Sales and Customer Service Team, provide solutions to customer issues, train and mentor the sales team, and independent reps.
  • Market Strategy:
    Develop sales strategies, analyze markets, and encourage new material directions. Work with the design team, purchasing, production, and all areas of business to support the business.
Qualifications
  • 8+ years selling specified building and design materials, ideally designer metals within the commercial interiors market.
  • Experience selling these materials through distribution preferred.
  • Established relationships and knowledge of building material distributors, interior design firms, and fabrication and millwork businesses.
  • Ability to travel up to 40% nationally to support distributors and their sales teams, attend industry trade shows, and designer events.
  • Willingness to work in person at offices in Easthampton, MA.
