Security & Transportation Associate (Security)

The Security & Transportation Associate is responsible for the safe and secure operation of Company facilities, the delivery of inventory to dispensaries across the state in compliance with state regulations, and supports the transfer of product/inventory throughout the production facility. This position provides a safe, orderly, and secure environment for staff, visitors, the public, and the general community. This is a non‑armed position.

• Follows instructions given by the manager
• Monitors facility cameras, alarm system, and daily operations to protect against internal and external threats to the Company, including theft and violence
• Monitors door access for vendors and visitors and escorts them throughout the facility
• Conducts inspections of the property and premises on a regular basis
• Responds to incidents, whether emergency or other, to maintain safety and security
• Initiates notification of incidents to appropriate management and escalates to external response teams when necessary (e.g., police and emergency response)
• Documents incidents using standard incident report forms
• Loads delivery van and performs compliant transportation of product to vendors
• Follows prescribed delivery routes and reports any deviation from the planned route and any vehicle stops outside the scope of delivery to the assigned transport monitor
• Supports inter‑facility deliveries and transfers
• Completes required security/transportation documentation including, but not limited to, manifests, invoices, inspection documents, incident reports, etc.
• Completes assigned tasks within the established time frames and specifications
• Complies with Company SOPs and state regulations
• Maintains a clean and safe work area
• Follows applicable safety procedures by wearing appropriate PPE, and reporting injuries, near misses, and hazards to management
• Behaves in a manner that is positive, productive, cooperative, and encourages teamwork
• Performs other duties as assigned

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• High school diploma or GED required
• Previous work experience in law enforcement or security preferred
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be able to pass a background check in accordance with state regulations

• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for at least 10 hours
• Ability to drive for a full shift for at least 10 hours
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
• Visual acuity needed for viewing screens and fine print
• Manual dexterity needed for data entry

• Warehouse and office environment with fluorescent lighting, no windows
• Moderate background noise level due to HVAC and machinery
• Frequent exposure to external weather conditions including sun, heat, cold, wind, rain, and snow
• Frequent exposure to cannabis odor; occasional exposure to product dust

Pay range: $17.00 - $19.52. Insa is a multi‑state employer, and this is the company‑wide pay range. Offers will be provided in accordance with state‑specific minimum wage guidelines.
