Join our Team

We are not just looking for a floor supervisor; we're looking for a tactical leader to bridge the gap between our drafting table and the field. The Fabrication Manager is the "Air Traffic Controller" of our shop. You'll oversee the flow of projects from shop drawings to products ready for installation at the jobsite. You will be the go‑to person for the shop crew, partner to our Project Managers, and the guardian of our quality standards.

As the Fabrication Manager, you will have a "coach‑player" relationship with the shop fabricators. This is a role for someone who loves the logic of a perfect schedule but isn't afraid to jump on a saw or build a custom jig when the team needs an extra hand.

Job Description - What a Typical Day Looks Like
  • The Morning Kick‑off – Arrive early to set the board. Review the latest drawings, check emails for field updates, and assign the crew to their stations the moment they walk in.
  • The Technical Bridge – Review full‑size shop drawings, catching dimensional errors before they hit the CNC, saw or brake. Create or assist in generating cut lists when needed.
  • Problem Solving – When a new material like aluminum arrives, design the jig and teach the team the "what" and the "why" of the new process. Troubleshoot fabrication challenges and create design solutions by utilizing existing shop equipment.
  • Workflow Logic – Manage the "dance" between the CNC, saw area, the door department and shipping/receiving to ensure no job hits a bottleneck.
  • Quality Control & Shop Standards – Maintain fabrication quality standards through continuous oversight of the work in progress.
  • The Afternoon Reset – As the floor settles, prep for tomorrow by organizing materials, tracking job costs, and coordinating with PMs on upcoming deadlines.
Qualifications - What we are looking for you to bring to the table
  • Experience:

5-10 Years in fabrication (Glazing, Metal, or Architectural Millwork preferred).
  • The "Eye" – An expert ability to read shop drawings and spot a discrepancy at a glance.
  • Leadership – 10 years or more of experience managing crews and a knack for coaching less experienced fabricators.
  • Tech‑Savvy – Mechanical aptitude for shop equipment and the ability to track hours and materials digitally. Experience with Microsoft 360 and its applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Reliability – A commitment to the 7:00 AM start and the grit required to stay late when required. Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, tight project schedule environment.
