Direct Care Professional
Department:
Developmental Brain Injury Services

Residential programs throughout Hamden, Hampshire, Franklin & Berkshire counties

Multiple shifts available, including overnights

$18-$20 per hour (Based on experience and certifications - See below)

Service Net is looking for compassionate individuals who enjoy helping others and making a difference. You will work with adults who have brain injuries and support them in living happy, meaningful lives. Training is provided.

  Activities:
  
  assist with eating, dressing, and using adaptive equipment.
• Home Support: cook meals, clean, do laundry, shop for groceries, and maintain a comfortable home environment.
• Transportation: drive residents to appointments, events, and activities.
• Keep Records: write daily notes and track important information.
• Support Goals: assist residents in achieving personal goals.
• Administer Medication: provide medications once trained.
• Stay Updated: complete required training and certifications.
• Teamwork: collaborate with the team and follow supervisor instructions.

• Driver’s License: valid license for at least 6 months and a good driving record
• Physical Ability: ability to perform tasks safely and support resident safety

• Background Check Required

$18/hr for individuals without MAP certification; $20/hr for individuals with an active MAP certification. Base is $18/hr plus a $2/hr MAP certification differential.
