Head Housekeeper

Responsibilities

As Head Housekeeper you will be responsible for:

• Managing and delivering high standards of housekeeping across the main lodge and guest accommodation
• Preparing the house for shooting parties and ensuring guest areas are immaculate at all times
• Hosting guests in a warm, professional and discreet manner
• Overseeing laundry, linen care and presentation standards
• Coordinating with the estate team and catering staff to ensure smooth daily operations
• Managing stock of housekeeping supplies
• Assisting with occasional front-of-house duties as required

This is a key role during the shooting season, requiring flexibility, energy and a positive, can-do attitude.

• Previous experience in a similar role within private households, estates, boutique hotels or luxury hospitality
• High standards of cleanliness and attention to detail
• Confident hosting guests in a relaxed yet professional manner
• Discreet, trustworthy and well-presented
• Organised and capable of working independently
• Flexible and willing to work weekends during the season
• A full UK driving licence is essential due to the remote location of the estate.

• Groundskeeping or general handyman duties
