Maintenance Technician (Mechanical & Electrical) - Ross-shire - Global Renewable Energy / Biogas Manufacturer

Our client is seeking to recruit a skilled Maintenance Technician to join their site in Ross-shire. This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward thinking, global organisation operating within a highly regulated environment, offering long term.

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out planned, reactive, and emergency maintenance activities across site plant and equipment, ensuring maximum uptime and safe operation. You will work within a CMMS driven maintenance environment and play an active role in continuous improvement and reliability initiatives.

To be successful in this role, you should have experience in the following areas:

• Planned and reactive mechanical & electrical maintenance
• Motors, pumps, gearboxes, conveyors, and rotating equipment
• Electrical fault finding on industrial plant and equipment
• Inspection and testing regimes
• CMMS systems
• Lock Out / Tag Out (LOTO) and safe systems of work
• Root cause analysis and continuous improvement activities
• Working within regulated environments (COMAH / ATEX / DSEAR or similar - advantageous but not essential)

• Strong safety-first mindset and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proactive problem solving approach
• Willingness to take part in an on-call rota
• Mechanical and/or Electrical trade qualification

Essential:

• Electrical and/or Mechanical Trade Qualification or equivalent
• Full UK Driving Licence

Desirable:

• COMPEX certification
• IOSH Managing Safely (or equivalent)
• HNC in Engineering
• FLT / Telehandler licence
