WhatYou’ll Do
As a Write/Run Construction Estimator, you will play a crucial role in creating accurate Xactimate estimates and overseeing projects from estimation to completion. Your responsibilities include:
- Conductingonsite inspections and preparing precise
Xactimate estimatesin line with program guidelines andIICRC standards. - Managing the jobs you estimate, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and quality restoration.
- Documentingclear job site photos and project reports.
- Communicating with insurance adjusters, clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Overseeingproject timelines, budgets, and scheduling subcontractorsto keep projects on track.
- Reviewing and submitting change orders, supplements, and final invoicing details.
- Providing excellent customer service, guiding homeowners and business owners through the repair process and payment expectations.
- Ensuring all necessary permits, inspections, and compliance requirements are met.
We’re looking for a motivated and experienced professional who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. Ideal candidates should have:
- Xactimate estimating experience.
- 3+ years of construction project management experience.
- 2+ years of restoration industry experience.
- Strong knowledge of building materials, construction methods, and damage restoration processes.
- Ability to effectively multi-task, prioritize, and remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Experience managing teams of subcontractors and ensuring project completion on time and within budget.
- Proficiency in using smartphones, tablets, and job management software.
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Physical ability to lift 50 lbs, stand/walk for extended periods, and work in various environmental conditions.
