As part of the Smartland Tenant Support Team, you’ll play a key role in ensuring every resident interaction reflects our commitment to service, professionalism, and community.
What You’ll Do Day to Day- Provide prompt, professional assistance to residents via phone, email, and in-person communication
- Respond to maintenance inquiries, service requests, and tenant concerns with care and accuracy
- Maintain and update tenant records, ensuring clear documentation and timely follow-up
- Coordinate with maintenance, leasing, and operations teams to resolve issues efficiently
- Assist with lease renewals, notices, and general communication between residents and management
- Support community engagement initiatives to improve tenant satisfaction and retention
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Professional and friendly demeanor when interacting with residents and team members
- Proficiency in Google Workspace or Microsoft Office; comfortable learning new systems
- Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Dependable, team-oriented, and focused on providing excellent customer service
- Previous experience in property management, tenant relations, or customer service
- Knowledge of Yardi, App Folio, or similar property management software
- Bilingual communication skills (Spanish a plus)
- Background in marketing, event coordination, or community relations
- Struggle with organization, follow-up, or multitasking in a fast-paced environment
- Are uncomfortable handling tenant complaints or resolving conflict calmly
- Prefer working independently without collaboration
- Avoid direct communication or have difficulty maintaining professionalism under pressure
