Controls Engineer – Electrical Design for Bevcorp Product Line, located in Eastlake, OH.
Responsibilities- Prepare detailed schematics and working engineering drawings of electrical devices and systems.
- Conduct electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic design; program peripheral devices, PLCs; coordinate machine debugging, power‑up, and validation with build and electrical teams; provide customer documentation as needed.
- Travel to installation sites for setup, run‑offs, and customer support when applicable.
- Collaborate with R&D on new product development projects, including design, testing, and technical support.
- Provide assembly team with technical support during assembly and manage final assembly testing.
- Support field service with remote and onsite technical assistance.
- Engage in continuous improvement activities to enhance product performance, reduce costs, and promote standardization.
- Commit to safety: understand risks, complete training, and report/document incidents as required.
- Interact professionally with company personnel, customers, and vendors.
- Generate bills of materials from specifications and drawings.
- Work across functions to solve problems and develop solutions for customers.
- Integrate Bevcorp equipment with existing machinery in the field.
- Serve as a subject‑matter expert in controls engineering.
- 10 years of experience designing electrical circuits and systems.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (preferred).
- Strong understanding of electrical design of circuits, pneumatic controls, electrical systems, machine controls, and electrical control panels.
- Proficient in designing electrical systems/circuits using AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, or similar software.
- Able to program Allen Bradley PLCs using ladder logic.
- Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future.
You will be on site at our Eastlake, OH facility and may travel up to 10% to customer sites to support installations and field service.
